Netscape Communicator 6.0
E-mail Howto

Step 1
1. Open Netscape communicator's MAIL program.
2. Click File then New then Account

Step 2
1. From the list of account types, select "ISP or email provider"
2. Click NEXT

Step 3
1. Enter the name you wish others to see when they receive an e-mail from you in the "Your Name" field.
2. Enter your new e-mail address in the "Email Address" field.
3. Click NEXT

Step 4
1. Under "Incoming Server" make sure that "POP" is selected as the incoming server type.
2. Enter the server name you've been provided in the "Server Name" field.
3. Enter the server name you've been provided in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) "Server Name" field.
4. Click NEXT

Step 5
1. Enter your account username in the "User Name" field.
2. Click NEXT

Step 6
1. Enter a name for the new account you've just created (The name is not critical to anything, so name it whatever you like.)
2. Click NEXT

Step 7
1. Verify all the information you've just placed into the Account Wizard and click FINISH when you've made sure all of the information is correct.
